Keywords:
Leningrad withstood and won a Great Victory over the enemy - both military and moral.Abstract
The feat of Leningrad, whose 900-day defense is an unforgettable tale of courage, will not fade in the centuries. He reveals the strength and heroism of the soul of the Soviet man, the ability to sacrifice himself in the name of freedom and independence of the Motherland, makes you feel proud of belonging to a great nation, capable of doing the impossible in moments of trials.
Relevance. The younger generation should know their historical heritage, think about the future of their country, which is especially important in the conditions of modern military conflicts.
Problem, goal, tasks. Those who survived the blockade managed to overcome the hungry, cold hell. There are fewer and fewer of them, and history goes with them. It depends on us that she does not leave forever.
Materials and methods of research. The information base contributing to the detailed consideration of this topic was made up of research materials, educational and methodological literature, materials of periodicals, information from the Internet. In the course of the research, general scientific methods were applied, such as analysis, generalization of the results obtained.
Results and their discussion. The hero city is one of the symbols that form the historical memory of the people. During the Great Patriotic War, Leningrad withstood more than two years of blockade by Nazi troops. The military and political leadership of Nazi Germany intended to wipe out the city from the face of the earth, exterminate the population and thereby eliminate the "cradle of the proletarian revolution." And to do this, first of all, not for military reasons (although this moment was also important for a successful advance on Moscow), but in order to undermine the morale of Soviet citizens.
Conclusion. Leningrad withstood and won a Great Victory over the enemy - both military and moral.
